Amy even leverages modern business strategies to pioneer private entrepreneurship during China’s early reform era, turning the compound into one of the first "10,000-yuan households." In the end, Amy not only alters the original plot but also finds genuine love. Just as she’s about to return to the real world after completing her mission, Zane’s heartfelt confession convinces her to stay. Under her guidance, the compound builds a future a hundred times brighter than the novel’s grim ending.
