To confirm her doubts, she accidentally walks into a trap set by the Chai heir. Just as Yue Lao prepares to return to heaven, he realizes Song Qiqi is in danger and rushes to save her. Unable to reveal himself, he lends his powers to Song Qiqi, allowing her to defeat the villain. After the antagonist is captured, Song Qiqi confesses her feelings, unwilling to part with him. Yue Lao decides to stay in the mortal world and spend this lifetime with her.
