Fresh graduate Ben develops hemorrhoids from eating excessive spicy food. When he goes to the hospital for treatment, he finds his attending doctor is Ethan, the son of his stepfather. The first digital rectal exam fills Ben with overwhelming embarrassment. The two keep crossing paths due to their awkward doctor-patient bond. Gradually, Ben falls for Ethan. He deliberately eats spicy dishes just to get another chance to see him, and the pair keep testing each other’s feelings amid tangled emotional tension. After misunderstandings, heartfelt confessions and acceptance from their family, they open up about their true feelings, heal each other’s past wounds, settle down together in a cozy little home with a cat, and achieve mutual emotional healing.
