Rosie built a business empire and entrusted it to Gwyneth, her closest friend from the orphanage. Soon after becoming engaged to Jason, she received news of Gwyneth's murder. Consumed by grief, Rosie underwent plastic surgery to assume Gwyneth's appearance and returned to reclaim the company, determined to exact revenge. Convinced Jason was the killer, she stabbed him. Gwyneth then reappeared, seemingly resurrected, and began manipulating Rosie to eliminate Jason. Rosie grew suspicious, and during a tense confrontation, Gwyneth's true nature was revealed. Rosie and Jason united to expose the conspiracy between Gwyneth and Frank. In the ensuing struggle, Frank killed the unrepentant Gwyneth, who only saw the truth in her final moments. Heartbroken, Rosie visited Gwyneth's grave with Jason. For a fleeting instant, she thought she glimpsed a familiar figure in the distance, and a deep sigh of sorrow escaped her.
