The Wife's Revenge
The female protagonist wakes up in a sanatorium and learns from a nurse that she has been in a coma for three years—and that her appearance has been completely altered. She witnesses her son deliberately hiding his scumbag father’s affair for money, even going on vacation with the father and his mistress. Filled with hatred for her cheating husband and his mistress, she discovers that not only did he attempt to murder her, but he also framed her as the adulteress who abandoned her family, ruining her reputation. Determined to take revenge, she sets her plan in motion. She finds Lucas Lu, a man also destroyed by the same mistress, and stops him from committing suicide. The two conspire to strike back. Lucas and the protagonist move into a rundown apartment near the Xu family’s villa, secretly observing as Liam Lin and Stella Xu flaunt their happy relationship. Using her new identity as "Sophie Su", the protagonist engineers a meeting with Liam. Meanwhile, Lucas poses as an investor and lures Liam to a hotel for a "business discussion." There, a tragic massage therapist named "Jade Jiang" (played by the protagonist) stands before Liam. She drugs him and takes compromising photos. Later, the protagonist returns to the luxurious home she once shared with Liam. There, she sees her son showering his stepmother, Stella, with affection—even gifting her a birthday present and thanking her for being "a better mother" over the past three years. Heartbroken by her son’s betrayal, she suppresses her emotions and leaves Stella a business card under her alias, "Sophie Su." When Liam arrives home and sees her, he freezes in shock, dropping his briefcase. The protagonist pretends not to know him and leaves. Meanwhile, Lucas makes an anonymous call to Stella, claiming Liam is cheating—and that the necklace he bought was actually for his mistress. This plants the seed of doubt in Stella’s mind. From then on, the protagonist uses her dual disguises—an insurance agent and a massage therapist—to manipulate Liam and Stella, turning them against each other. In the end, she reclaims her fortune and ensures they face justice.
