Moonlit Bridge of Nostalgia
On the Mid-Autumn Festival, Yu Ying was supposed to celebrate with her husband, Zhou Minghao. Instead, she received unexpected news from her long-lost birth mother, Zhao Wanzhi. However, as the ambulance tried to leave, a frantic and guilt-ridden Zhao Wanzhi blocked the exit with her car, even throwing herself in front of it. When paramedics attempted to reverse, Zhao Fangfang arrived, boxing the ambulance in. Zhou Minghao arrived amidst the chaos. The Zhao women conspired to hide that Yu Ying was inside the ambulance. Knowing Zhou's mother desperately wanted a grandson and unwilling to raise his child with Yu Ying, Zhao Fangfang was determined to make mother and baby vanish. In a desperate bid, Jiang Ze and the team transferred Yu Ying to a second rescue vehicle that arrived just in time. Amidst the frantic escape, a keepsake pendant identical to Zhao Fangfang's fell from Yu Ying and was found by Zhao Wanzhi. Seeing the pendant, Zhao Wanzhi was thunderstruck, realizing the woman she had just tried to kill was her true biological daughter. Devastated to learn she was merely a stand-in enjoying love meant for Yu Ying, Zhao Fangfang's jealousy turned murderous. She exploited Zhao Wanzhi's panic and guilt, urging her to finish Yu Ying off. Despite the relentless attacks, Jiang Ze's skill saved Yu Ying's life, though she tragically lost the baby. When the full truth emerged, Zhao Wanzhi, shattered by the realization she had caused her own grandchild's death, descended into madness. Justice prevailed: Zhou Minghao, Zhao Fangfang, and their accomplices were arrested and imprisoned.
