However, Cole had remarried Roselyn, the daughter of Jennifer, during his time there. Tragically, Nick was killed by Roselyn and Jennifer. In an attempt to ingratiate himself with Lucy's father, a high-ranking officer, Cole killed Jennifer. In turn, Roselyn then killed Cole before taking her own life. Heartbroken and filled with regret, Lucy buried her son.
