She counters with receipts showing she spoiled Lin Xiaoning while neglecting herself and Mao Jiale. They dismiss her proof, and Lin Xiuwen threatens divorce. Finally, she snaps, exposing their hypocrisy: Her mother-in-law gave Lin Xiuwen property and funds, and they’d schemed to manipulate the sister-in-law’s marriage. The revelation triggers a violent family meltdown.
